Biomedical Engineering Technology
Two to three courses per semester in the BMET program, taught with active learning. Coordinates two sections of biomedical industrial internships each semester and aligned the curriculum with current industry standards.
Data Acquisition Laboratory
Developed and delivered a distance-based data-acquisition lab for BME undergraduates: biomedical sensor design (optical plethysmographs and oximeters), open-source LabVIEW control of Arduino hardware, and lectures on engineering ethics and inclusive design.
Effects of Science on Society
Co-created curriculum for a summer science-policy course, introducing case-study pedagogy to the UTK science-policy curriculum.
Introductory & Modern Physics
Led flipped-classroom sessions, laboratory exercises, and office hours for introductory physics for non-majors and modern physics for majors.
